We have put together a small programme of engaging courses which will be facilitated by our usual enthusiastic selves and attended by YOU, our honoured delegates! One Day Introduction to British Sign Language
This fun introductory course will explore the world of British Sign Language – BSL. You will learn basic BSL phrases as well as finding out about the history and origins of a signed language used by D/deaf people in the UK. Prior to the course we will ask you which phrases or signs are specific to your job role or personal interest. We will then translate these phrases and produce a personalised high quality handout for you to take away and keep. There will also be a short session on working with an interpreter, and there will be materials and books on BSL available to purchase on the day.

- Open courses are suitable for people who are either booking an individual place for themselves or for organisations who only require a small number of places. Many people attending open courses come on their own - we are very friendly and you are assured of a warm welcome.
- All courses include lunch and refreshments, a folder, handouts, pen, and certificate for each delegate.
- Free car parking is available at all venues.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT.
- The maximum number of delegates per course is 15. The minimum number required for a course to run is 5.
- If you need more than 5 places for your own organisation, it may be cheaper for you to book an in house course and we will come to you.
